Welcome to the American Society of Trial Consultants, Inc.
to a new membership year. With the beginning of the new year, the ASTC
members, committees, and board are hard at work on many exciting
As Trial Consulting Advisors to the Civil Jury Project, ASTC members have developed and are currently administering a survey to the legal community. Additionally, we are preparing survey questions to query citizens nationwide about their opinions of the 7th Amendment for this project.
Other committees are already providing benefits both internally and externally for ASTC. In the late summer ASTC’s Professional Education committee will provide a member webinar. You can expect multiple webinars over the next year. Look for the forthcoming notifications.
ASTC is working on offering more on-line resources. We plan to provide the late summer webinar on our website shortly after the live session. Also for those of you who could not join us in sunny California, sessions from the Redondo Beach conference will be available soon for purchase.
Early fall we anticipate many unique opportunities to discuss and promote the field of trial consulting which coincide with a new prime time TV show focusing on our industry. ASTC’s Professional Visibility committee is actively developing a plan to use this opportunity to highlight trial consultants’ purpose, services, and benefit. Furthermore, we plan to tie this into educational prospects as well.
The ASTC Conference committee has begun looking ahead to the Chicago conference June 8-10, 2017. Please mark your calendars now. If there is a topic you would like covered or a speaker you are interested in seeing, please contact the board liaison Sandy Donaldson. Now is the time to plan.
As you may have noticed in ASTC Grams and other communications, our administrative management has recently changed. Please note our new address and phone number. The transition is going well. Some things may be different, so feel free to contact board members or Vicki Wiltsie our Executive Director from The FIRM if you have questions or comments during this process. We are here for you.
If you are interested in giving back to ASTC, please contact Vicki Wiltsie at the ASTC office and she will connect you with the appropriate committee. Many hands make light work.
It’s going to be a good year!
